The evidence is clear! Automobile dealerships must embrace their local sales teams to turn social media into a sales tool. Most dealerships are still suffering from paranoia about their sales people having access to their Facebook Page or other dealership's social tools. They are afraid of seeing something posted that could be illegal or just plain negative. Unfortunately their concern has eliminated the SOCIAL part of social media. Their very own sales teams personality is exactly what they need. This TWO WAY engagement process not only works, it can be controlled. The results are increased sales. Dealership management needs to see to the big picture. The very people they are keeping out are the very people who can be social with THEIR OWN FRIEND BASE which could begun the dealerships friend base.
